Privacy Policy

Last updated August 30, 2026

EMCC takes privacy seriously because our mission is safety. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why we collect it, and how we protect it. It is written in plain language on purpose.

What we collect

  • Waitlist signups: your name, email address, the role you select, and your chosen language.
  • Stories: what you write about your experience, and your name and email only if you choose to share them. Stories can be submitted anonymously.
  • Partnership inquiries: your organization, name, email, country, and message.
  • Security records: like most websites, our systems record technical information such as IP address and browser type to protect the site against abuse.

What we use it for

To contact you about EMCC, to understand where care fails people so we can build better products, to respond to partnership and licensing conversations, and to keep the site secure. That is all.

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not share your stories publicly with your name attached. We do not use your information for advertising.

Where it lives

Your information is stored in a secure cloud database with encrypted connections. Inside our team, access is role based: each person sees only what their role requires, and researchers reviewing stories see them without names or email addresses.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you gave us at any time. Reach us through the partnership form on the site and we will take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Meaningful changes will be noted here.
